Iron block revamp

Let’s be honest iron blocks don't look like iron at all they look like stainless steal and yes, they do look nice in some modern and futuristic builds, but I think they have a much greater potential for building if the texture was changed to something similar to the copper blocks and over time it would rust just how copper oxidizes (the rust could be stopped with honeycombs too).

An additional idea is that they would only rust when exposed to water (or the water just speeds up the process).

Maybe if this got added iron slabs and stairs would be a thing too which would again make iron a much more versatile building block.
