Title:
Fix Shield Deflection and Projectile Ownership in Bedrock Edition (Java Parity)
Body:
Currently, in Minecraft Bedrock Edition, using combat add-ons to simulate Java Edition mechanics results in a major issue with shields: while projectiles (like arrows) can be blocked or deflected, the deflected projectiles do not deal damage to enemies when they hit back.
In Java Edition, blocking a projectile with a shield and reflecting it properly updates the entity's owner, allowing the player to counterattack using the enemy's own projectiles. However, due to Bedrock's internal limitations regarding entity ownership and projectile handling, add-on creators cannot fully replicate this crucial mechanic.
Why this needs to be fixed:
* Incomplete Combat Experience: Even with high-quality combat add-ons, the inability of reflected projectiles to deal damage makes shield-based combat feel broken and unrewarding.
* Parity with Java Edition: Proper shield deflection and smooth combat mechanics are essential for a fair and consistent experience across both versions.
Suggestion:
Please improve the game engine's handling of projectile ownership and shield interactions (or provide official API/engine support for creators), so that deflected projectiles can properly register damage when hitting targets.
Thank you for your hard work on Bedrock Edition! Please vote for this if you want better combat mechanics!
