The Fletching Table should become the dedicated workstation for crafting Tipped Arrows. This would give the block a clear player function while keeping its identity focused on archery.
I suggest removing the current Tipped Arrow methods from both editions: potion-filled cauldrons in Bedrock and the Lingering Potion crafting recipe in Java. Instead, players would use the Fletching Table.
The interface could be simple: place 8 Arrows in one slot and 1 Lingering Potion in another to create 8 Tipped Arrows with that potion effect. For example, a Lingering Potion of Harming would produce 8 Arrows of Harming. Using Lingering Potions keeps Dragon's Breath relevant and prevents Tipped Arrows from becoming too cheap.
The table could show the resulting arrow and effect duration before crafting, similar to other specialized workstations. It should support every potion effect that already has a Tipped Arrow, without adding new arrow types or changing combat balance.
This would improve Java-Bedrock parity, remove two inconsistent crafting systems, and finally give the Fletching Table a useful survival purpose. It also feels intuitive: the workstation used by Fletcher villagers would become the place where players professionally prepare specialized arrows.
