Each defeated Piglin Brutes will guarantee you a drop called a Key Fragment. These fragments can then be crafted into one Special Key by using 9 of them.
This key can open a Vault containing Netherite Upgrade in the centerpiece of Bastion Remnants. Maybe sometimes, the Vault even stay hidden inside a special room or chamber.
