Hey everyone! Right now, all the ice in Minecraft looks like a boring flat sheet at water level, but that's not how it works in the real world. It would be awesome to raise the ice in frozen oceans a few blocks up to create massive icy shores, just like in real Antarctica where penguins dive off the edges. No need for complex parkour — just thick, volumetric ice made of different layers that shift from regular ice near the water, to packed ice a bit higher, and blue ice deep inside. To make it feel even more alive, we should add textures with cool, deep cracks where the ice meets the open water, looking as if the waves are wearing it down and it's about to snap. And for the ultimate atmosphere, walking on these glaciers should trigger a deep, hollow rumbling sound and echoes of cracking ice hidden somewhere inside the mass — just like on real polar ice caps. This update would instantly make cold biomes feel rugged, powerful, and incredibly alive, making them way more exciting to explore!
