They should add a Woodcutter to Minecraft because wood is one of the most commonly used resources in the game, especially for building. A Woodcutter could work similarly to the Stonecutter and allow players to quickly turn logs into planks, stairs, slabs, fences, doors, trapdoors, and other wooden blocks. This would make crafting easier, faster, and less repetitive. Instead of constantly using a crafting table and remembering different recipes, players could simply choose the wooden block they want from a menu.
A Woodcutter would be especially useful for builders who use large amounts of wood. It could work with every wood type and automatically support new ones added in future updates. Minecraft already has specialised crafting blocks such as the Stonecutter, Loom, Cartography Table, and Smithing Table, so a Woodcutter would fit naturally into the game. It would not completely change Minecraft or add a complicated mechanic; it would simply make working with wood more convenient. Since stone has a Stonecutter, adding a Woodcutter would also make the crafting system feel more balanced.
