Add-On Concept: The Glimmerwood Depths

  • Type: Add-on (Behavior & Resource Pack)

  • Location: Deep Overworld Caves (Y = -48 to -64)

Biome & Blocks

  • The Twilight Hollows: A bioluminescent subterranean biome featuring dark obsidian spires, glowing purple mist, and hanging starlight spore-vines.

  • New Blocks: Glimmerstone (durable dark building stone), Petrified Rootwood (blast-resistant wood variant), and Prism-Cap Fungi (bouncy mushroom pads that negate fall damage).

Boss: The Brambleheart Wyrm

  • Description: A massive, serpentine dragon rooted deep within a stone amphitheater. It tunnels through solid rock, launches volatile thorn-bursts, and traps players with ground tentacles.

  • Drop: Heartwood Scales (used for endgame crafting).

New Mobs

  • The Thornstalker (Hostile): A camouflaged ambush predator that leaps from the shadows and slows players with an entangled debuff.

  • The Glimmerwing (Neutral): A graceful, star-furred, fox-like creature that leaps between walls. Provoking it triggers a high-frequency shriek to scatter the swarm. Can be pacified or befriended with sweet berries to act as a portable light source.

Equipment & Crafting

  • Wyrmtooth Blade: Crafted with Heartwood Scales and a Netherite Sword. Deals armor-piercing thorn damage over time.

  • Crown of the Deep Canopy: Crafted with Heartwood Scales and a Netherite Helmet. Grants permanent underground night vision and enhanced jump height.
