Cartography Tables making Item Frames bigger

Ok I know that the Cartography Table is used primarily to make maps bigger or lock them, but what if you could use it to add more ingredients to something to make that bigger as well?

So my idea is you can put Item Frames/Glowing Item Frames into cartography tables, and put a piece of leather into the second slot to turn it from a 1x1 to a 2x2, and so on if you continue adding leather.

It can go up to a max size of 5x5.
It does require the space needed to place, kind of like a painting.
Placing an item inside the item frame will increase the size of said item to fit the item frame, maps included.
