Why the Game Needs It
The Fletching Table has lacked a user interface since 2019. Ranged combat is also stagnant, relying almost entirely on standard arrows or tedious potion-brewing for tipped arrows. This concept introduces a functional GUI centered on Ammunition Tuning to give this block a unique, survival-ready purpose.
The GUI Layout
A simple, rustic three-slot wooden interface:
- Slot 1 (The Base): Sticks, Bamboo, or Blaze Rods.
- Slot 2 (The Tip): Flint, Iron Nuggets, or Reagents.
- Slot 3 (The Fletching): Feathers or Phantom Membranes.
New Crafting & Combat Depth
- Bamboo Shafts: Creates aerodynamic arrows that fly 30% faster and farther, but deal 15% less damage.
- Iron Tips (Armor-Piercing): Bypasses 25% of an enemy's armor or shield defense.
- Echo Arrows: Crafted using Echo Shards. Emits a loud sonic vibration where it lands, distracting Wardens or alerting teammates.
- Streamlined Tipped Arrows: Combining one standard Splash Potion with a stack of arrows yields 24 Tipped Arrows. This removes the tedious requirement for Dragon's Breath and Lingering Potions, making status-effect archery viable for everyday survival.
Why It Fits Minecraft
It finalizes a long-abandoned block, injects strategy into combat without overcomplicating the core point-and-shoot loop, and gives underutilized items like Echo Shards vital utility in the mid-to-late game.
