i think Mojang agrees with me on this: that players should be able to explore the game without the need for external sources to discover everything.
And I think it would be a cool structure to find in Snowy villages.
A carved pumpkin next to 2 snow blocks on top of each other with spruce buttons on each snow block. The 2 buttons would make it more obvious that this is an unfinished snowman
A player might try to finish it and discover the snow golem
