the upgrade should be free for people who already own minecraft

The Minecraft Update should come as a free upgrade for those who already own Minecraft on their Nintendo Switch 2 coming in as an update. Maybe I'm just saying this because I own it... but still I want it free:>

    No, I 100% agree. They did it when switching from legacy editions to bedrock, so I don’t see why not.

    to the person who said it says it will be free, I'm the creator of this post and I checked on their release date post like you said, and I did not see anything about maybe I'm reading the wrong post but I could not find it

    I'm the one who told about the post of minecraft about the release date, it is written :

    "For those of you who already own Minecraft on Nintendo Switch™, a digital upgrade path will be available for Nintendo Switch players. More details to follow."

    Ok it doesn't say free, but I don't think it will not.
