Rivers that flow

What if rivers actually were moving water with current, it would be really cool if there was a way to make water that is a full water block but still has current, also, adding deltas would be cool and a welcome improvement, furthermore, it would make fishing much more dynamic with more fish that spawn in different biomes, bodies of water, and current strength.
