Shulker box in minecart? Remove with shears?

Chests should be removable from minecarts/boats using shears. Not sure if there's already a mechanic to do this, but it would be very helpful.

Picture this: you're at the bottom of a mine. You just filled your blue shulker box nametagged "DIAMONDS" to the brim. You want to send it the surface, but you don't want to climb all the way up. You instead right click on an empty minecart while holding the shulker box; the shulker box is added to the minecart, kind of like an item frame. You turn on the powered rail, and the minecart shoots up to the surface.

On the surface, your buddy right clicks on the minecart while holding shears, and the shulker box pops out. He sends the minecart back, and takes the shulker box into the base.

Thoughts? I think this would be awesome!
