I’d like to offer a suggestion and also express some frustration regarding the Minecraft Marketplace.
I started playing *Red Dead Redemption 2*, and a friend and I really got into the Wild West atmosphere. In Minecraft, we’re creating our own story: we’re survivors of an apocalypse in the early 19th century, trying to stay alive against zombies, skeletons, creepers, and giant spiders.
To round out the experience, we were looking for something simple: period-appropriate, pixelated firearms—like revolvers, shotguns, or muskets.
However, most of what we found were futuristic weapons, lasers, and designs that were way over the top. That just doesn't fit the experience we’re trying to create.
I wouldn't even need a realistic weapon. If there were an add-on with toy guns—like foam-dart blasters inspired by Nerf, completely fictional and pixelated, but capable of damaging mobs—I’d buy it.
What I don't get is why a simple, fictional take on this seems so hard to find, especially when the Marketplace is full of horror content, monsters, and much more intense experiences.
I don't want to turn Minecraft into a gun simulator. I just want a gameplay tool that fits the Wild West story my friend and I are building.
Sometimes, all a player wants is something simple.
We just wanted a pixelated revolver to take on zombies in the Old West.
