A New Kind of Tree

In Minecraft, apples grow on oak and dark oak trees, however, this is odd to me because apples aren't supposed to grow on oak trees. They grow on well, apple trees. And so, I propose that Mojang adds apple trees to Minecraft. Apple trees will also give a new unique wood that can be used to craft doors, slabs, boats, etc. And what about oak and dark oak trees? They will now bear acorns instead. I hope that Mojang adds my ideas to the game.
