Deep Mining Cities
One of the biggest discoveries could be an enormous Deep Mining City hidden far underground. Imagine mining through a wall and suddenly discovering an entire underground settlement.
It could contain:
* Miners’ houses
* Shops
* Storage warehouses
* Minecart stations
* Large bridges
* Mining machinery
* Elevators
* Vertical shafts
* Old rail networks
* Giant caverns
* Underground lakes
* Waterfalls
* Massive ore deposits
Some cities could be abandoned and mysterious. Others could potentially contain small underground communities. The city wouldn’t need to be filled with enemies. It could be mostly quiet and mysterious, making the player wonder: “Who built this?”
