I think Minecraft would be much more fun if the world felt more diverse, alive, and worth exploring. I would love a world-generation option where different areas of the Minecraft world are inspired by different real-world environments. It wouldn’t need to recreate countries exactly. Instead, it could take inspiration from their landscapes, climates, plants, wildlife, and architecture.
Possible regional environments:
* United States and Canada
* Mexico
* Central America
* The Caribbean
* South America
* Europe
* Africa
* Asia
* Australia and Oceania
* Polynesia
* Mediterranean regions
* Tropical regions
Different regions could have their own:
* Biomes
* Plants
* Animals
* Weather
* Structures
* Village styles
* Building materials
* Landscapes
The goal would be to make traveling across the Minecraft world feel like discovering different parts of an enormous planet. I want Minecraft to be a game where you can spend hours exploring simply because you have no idea what you’re going to find next. Minecraft’s world is already enormous. I think the game should make players feel excited about discovering what’s inside it.
