Minecraftβs oceans are huge, but there are few reasons to explore their deepest areas. The Deep Sea would make ocean exploration much more rewarding.
The biome would range from Y=50 to Y=-50, with strong currents, whirlpools and rough water. New algae would include Deep, Blue, Cyan, Abyssal and Orange Algae.
A rare FAKFA sub-biome would contain colorful fungi, cyan vegetation and ancient cities swallowed by the ocean. Without a Turtle Helmet, players would get Nausea. FAKFA could be purified in a furnace and used to upgrade Heart of the Sea Armor.
Maritime Peaks would feature giant underwater spikes, shipwrecks and clues about the Flying Dutchman.
New peaceful mobs would include Oarfish, Ocean Sunfish, Parrotfish and Stingrays, with fish forming schools.
Lizardfolk would live in underwater villages. They would be peaceful if the player holds no weapon and wears Turtle Armor. They could give an Atlantis Map.
Atlantis would contain Leviathan Eggs. Five lightning strikes would hatch an egg, and 64 Salmon could tame the baby Leviathan.
Other mobs include Deep Skeletons, Deep Zombies, LumΓnics, Abyssal Eyes, Rocklings, Mordents, Currentlings and Abyssal Devourers.
New enchantments like Aquatic Efficiency and Thrust Resistance would improve underwater mining and Trident combat.
Killing Lizardfolk from 10 villages could trigger a Deep Sea Raid.
This update would give the Trident, Heart of the Sea and Turtle Helmet more uses and give players a real reason to explore the ocean.
