Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Move Anvil's Enchanted Books related mechanics to Enchanting Table

Anvils should be for repairing items, while using books for enchanting and combining enchanted books should be moved to enchanting table.

How about adding a 3rd item slot to the enchanting table screen, allowing for the following actions:

  • you can put an enchanted book in a 3rd slot for guaranteed enchantment like now in anvils,

  • you can combine 2 enchanted books like now in anvils,

  • you can put another item (blaze powder, wind charge, emeralds, diamonds, etc.) to guarantee an enchantment form a certain group (emerald giving looting/fortune, blaze powder giving fire aspect/fire protection/flame, etc.), while other enchantments are randomized.

Of course all of those actions should require Lapis Lazuli.
