The Redstone Boots are your Trapster Mask, triggering machinery wirelessly as you walk. Stepping on redstone dust or lamps activates them instantly. To prevent exploits, standing still on a component triggers a heavy durability burn every 20 milliseconds. Freezing for a full second forces a huge durability hit across five material tiers at once, forcing constant movement. The Quartz Boots are your Sprinter Masks for high-speed travel. Standard quartz gives a speed boost on land and a larger one on ice. The Smooth Quartz variant requires smelting refined quartz blocks a second time to get smooth quartz shards. This rewards you with extreme speed on land and game-breaking speed on ice. To balance this, friction damage ticks every 50 milliseconds on ice highways. Trying to jump-sprint to save your footwear instantly doubles the durability damage calculation and rapidly drains hunger, forcing perfect grounded precision.
