With one furnace, a carved pumpkin, and a lever on the backside of the furnace, we could have a stone golem! By putting in fuel, the golem will move the amount of items all the fuel it has can smelt in blocks. For example, if a lava bucket is placed inside, because a lava bucket can smelt 100 items, the golem will move 50. To turn on and off the golem, simply flick the lever. A good way of indicating when a stone golem is out of fuel is by looking for smoke. After a golem runs out of fuel it will lower their head and emit smoke particles until refueled. Leads could be tied to the golem, making it an easy way of transporting whatever you need. by dropping it an item like rails or redstone, the golem will place it in its path until it runs out of fuel. By handing the golem any sort of map, or compass, the golem will go in the direction of where the destination is. Give it a treasure map, it will walk to the treasure. Give it a recovery compass, it will go to your last death location.
