A New Item That Turns What You See Into a Map

I have an idea for a new Minecraft item. The item would let you create a map showing exactly what you are looking at. For example, if you build a house and look directly at it, you could use the item to create a map showing your house from that direction. You could then put the map in an item frame and use it as decoration, almost like a picture of your build. This could be useful for builders because they could display their builds as maps inside their Minecraft houses. You could also make a collection of maps showing different builds or places. I think this would be a fun and useful feature for Minecraft!
