More uses for the Gunpowder

Gunpowder is useful in crafting explosive items, but besides from that, there are no other uses. I had some ideas that could help with that. 1 - Placeable Gunpowder: If Gunpowder was Placeable, it could be used as wiring to a TNT Block; place it next to the TNT, trailing it away from it, and when you light it with a Flint & Steel the flame will travel through the gunpowder to the TNT, ending with explosive results. 2 - A new explosive block If Mojang were able to add a new recipe to the Crafting Table, I would recommend it to be Dynamite. If we were able to throw bombs without placing them down and lighting it, it would really help with the occasional time when we prank our friends. The recipe would best be the TNT Block recipe, but the Sand and Gunpowder have swapped places. 3 - Gunpowder that hangs Going back to the concept of Placeable Gunpowder, imagine being able to have it hang over two blocks or more of a fall. Then it would be easier to lay out all of the Gunpowder that you have.
