Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Ability to put redstone dust on chains

This would allow for new build designs as well as vertical and water-loggable redstone, allowing for far more utility and features (such as the ability to turn lanterns connected to a redstone-dusted chain on/off with a powered or unpowered redstone connection, or the ability to move redstone with pistons for more complex machinery)
