We need real meaningful updates. Modders working alone make more meaningful content than your entire studio. I love Minecraft dungeons, story mode, legends… but adding blocks, one mediocre biome and one half interesting mob every few months just isn’t enough. So I’m suggesting a complete rework to how you work and release updates. I don’t think we need updates every few months. 1 update a year. 1 major update each year. We need more dimensions. We need more dungeon-like areas/biomes. We need more true bosses with health bars. The recent work with new weapons such as mace and spear are GREAT. What gamers want are more gameplay mechanics and trials to overcome.
This would be the perfect major update, and comeback for Minecraft…
- 1+ years complete silence working hard on a new update
- 2 new dimensions (deep dark + a surreal dimension that only takes place after the Ender dragon is defeated, strictly)
- 2 bosses 3+ powerful mobs in the deep dark with 4+ biomes: one boss should be small and nimble with a weapon, the other should be a giant
- surreal dimension has one boss, 0 mobs, almost like a silent dimension. Herobrine or something similar ideologically, it needs to be a ‘secret’ boss for after the credits roll, perhaps a portal to this dimension is found in the deep dark or the end
I know many people will disagree with me on things I’ve mentioned- and I hope for even just one single true major update in the next 5 years max… I just don’t understand why updates feel- Bad.
