Hello Mojang! Currently, when a player opens a singleplayer world to LAN, the game only provides a local port number (e.g., 51234). For friends outside the local Wi-Fi network to join, it is incredibly difficult. Players have to find their public IP, deal with complex router port forwarding, or use third-party tools like Hamachi or Radmin VPN.Please consider modernizing the "Open to LAN" feature. It would be amazing if Minecraft could automatically generate a temporary, secure public address (IP + Port) or a simple shareable link/code directly inside the game UI. This would allow external friends to join a singleplayer world instantly and play together happily for free, without forcing regular users to set up dedicated external servers or use third-party software.
