Let the Happy Ghast come closer to you when you look at it.

They could implement a mechanic similar to the Enderman in the Happy Ghast so that it approaches the player when they stare at it.
Honestly, having the player necessarily have snowballs on hand while chasing the Happy Ghast, or even waiting for it to come down so they can ride it, is really tedious if you ask me.
Keep the snowball mechanics just to make them grow and reproduce.

Please, I love this mob and I want to use it without getting frustrated in the process :c
