Minecraft Bedrock should have an official Server Discovery section where players can find community-made servers directly from the Minecraft menu.
The system could include:
- A profile for each verified server creator.
- Server pages with the server name, description, screenshots, supported game modes, version, player count, and connection information.
- Categories such as Survival, Semi-Anarchy, PvP, Skyblock, Minigames, and Roleplay.
- Likes, favorites, and player counts to help determine which community servers are popular.
- A “Featured” section for official/partner servers and another section for popular community servers.
- A verification system so players can distinguish legitimate server creators from unofficial or potentially unsafe links.
- A way for creators to customize their server page and publish screenshots or promotional images.
- Optional monetization for creators through Minecraft-approved content or purchases, while keeping the server itself accessible to players.
This would make it much easier for players to discover new Bedrock servers without having to search through social media, Discord groups, websites, or manually enter IP addresses.
Minecraft already has servers and creator-made content, so this could expand the existing system into a more complete discovery platform for the Bedrock community.
I think this would especially help smaller community servers that have good content but struggle to reach new players.
