Please consider restoring the previous arrow behavior that allowed multiple Infested mobs (Silverfish) to be killed automatically by a single arrow in Infestation XP farms.
Before the recent change, players could use an Infestation setup with Soul Sand and water to create an automatic XP farm. Arrows could travel through the upward-flowing water and kill multiple Infested mobs, making the farm fully automatic.
After the recent change, an arrow can now kill only one Infested mob. This has effectively broken this type of automatic Infestation XP farm.
We understand that other XP-farm methods exist, including trident-based farms. However, those are alternatives and do not replace the automatic arrow-killing mechanic. The purpose of this feedback is specifically to bring back the previous behavior that allowed automatic arrow-based Infestation XP farms.
We would like Mojang to consider restoring this mechanic for both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition (MCPE).
Infestation is a great mechanic with interesting possibilities for farms, and allowing the previous arrow behavior would give players another creative and fully automatic way to build XP farms.
Please consider bringing back automatic multi-kill arrow behavior for Infested mobs.
Thank you, Mojang!
