The End Deserves a Major Update
The End is supposed to be the final and most mysterious dimension of Minecraft, but after all these years, it still feels very empty.
After defeating the Ender Dragon and exploring End Cities, there isn't much left to discover. We have Endermen, Shulkers, Endermites, End Cities, Elytra, Chorus Fruit and a few other features, but compared to the Overworld and Nether, the End has received very little attention.
I believe the End has enormous potential. New biomes, mobs, structures, blocks, resources, mechanics and challenges could make exploring it exciting again. The End doesn't need to be completely redesigned; even a meaningful expansion would make a huge difference.
A strong End update could also bring back players who stopped playing because Minecraft became repetitive, while attracting new players and bringing more people into the Minecraft community.
Most importantly, I think Mojang should ask the community what they want.
Why not create an official survey asking: "Do you want an End Update?"
The survey could also ask what players would like to see, such as new biomes, mobs, structures, resources and reasons to explore the End.
Minecraft has changed so much over the years. I think it's time for the End to receive the attention it deserves.
Please consider giving the End a major update, or at least ask the Minecraft community whether they want one.
