Off Hand For Bedrock And Pocket Edition

The Bedrock version doesnt have a good off hand feature similar to Java version. The whole community wants this single piece of feature to happen and would really appreciate the devs if they do that. We can have a specific button for offhand on and off or just simply double tap an already existing button if mobile screen space is an issue.

    Please Add Full Off-Hand Functionality to Minecraft Bedrock! 🛡️❤️

    Dear Minecraft Team,

    Please consider adding Full Off-Hand Functionality to Minecraft Bedrock/Pocket Edition. 🙏

    In Java Edition, players can use the off-hand for many useful items, making mining, building, exploring, farming, and combat smoother. Bedrock still has very limited off-hand functionality.

    A full off-hand system could allow players to use shields, maps, food, torches, blocks, tools, and other items. For example, keeping torches in the off-hand while mining would make gameplay much easier.

    For mobile players, Mojang could add an optional Off-Hand Button that can be enabled, disabled, and customized in Settings. This could also work with controllers, consoles, and PC.

    Full Off-Hand would make Bedrock faster, smoother, and more enjoyable, while also being an important step toward Java–Bedrock parity.

    Bedrock players have been asking for better off-hand functionality for a long time. Please listen to the community and bring us Full Off-Hand! ❤️🙏

    We need off hand feature in bedrock edition pls we need cause we can't see in cave because cave is too dark and we can't use torch in our off hand 😔 and torch has not brightness
