Personally, Minecraft is way too overwhelming to me. It feels like there’s so much there and I’d only be able to touch small fractions of it before I kick the bucket some time in my life. I wish I could go back to simpler times, so I came up with an awesome idea. In the title screen, you’ll be able to find a button labeled “Legacy”. When pressed, you’ll be able to play legacy console edition, with the added abilities of cross-play, keyboard and touch screen support, and skins bought off the modern marketplace. I really prefer these versions because they feel less overwhelming than modern Minecraft. Sometimes I start up the good ‘ol’ Xbox One to play legacy console edition, because I genuinely can’t stand the newer feeling of Minecraft sometimes. Please add this Mojang. You guys could call it “Retro Rampage” or something. It would bring so many people back to happier times. But if you add it, PLEASE, do not let newer marketplace content be applied to legacy worlds. Maybe, for the mashups that legacy console did have, you guys could add a note under them in the marketplace saying “supports legacy mode.” This would help out those without the ability to play legacy console be able to experience the memories of many, for themselves. Maybe there could also be crossplay between those playing real legacy console, and those playing legacy mode. It would make so many fans happy.
