I would like to suggest adding the Honey Badger (Ratel) to Minecraft as a new tameable mob found in forest, plains, or savanna biomes!
Here are the details of how this mob could work:
Poison Immunity: Honey Badgers are immune to poison effects (Pufferfish, Cave Spiders, Witches, etc.).
High HP & High Defense: They are small but exceptionally tough, featuring high health and damage resistance.
Aggressive & Fearless Behavior: Wild Honey Badgers are neutral toward players until attacked, but naturally aggressive toward hostile mobs (Zombies, Spiders, Skeletons, and Witches). They don't back down from a fight!
Beehive Raider: Wild Honey Badgers love honey! They will actively hunt for wild bee nests and hives to eat honey blocks, causing bees to swarm them (though the Honey Badger ignores the poison/damage).
Taming Mechanism: Players can tame a Honey Badger by feeding it Honey Bottles or Honeycombs. Once tamed, they act as loyal companions similar to wolves, but with poison immunity and tankier stats to help in battle.
Unique Trait: Ideal companion for raiding Nether Fortresses, mineshafts, or fighting Witches due to their immunity to negative status effects.
This mob would add a fun dynamic to biome wildlife, make honey even more useful, and give players a uniquely durable pet!
