Clocks should be able to be placed on the top or the side of blocks. Right-clicking while holding a clock locks the clock into that specific time interval and can be changed when you right-click while holding it again. Placing this timed clock on a block will make the clock a daily alarm, where it sends a redstone signal if the time interval it is locked on to is the current time of the day. If you place a clock on a block and right-click on it with a bell, it turns into another timer. Click on it to add 5 seconds, and crouch while doing this to add 1 minute. Then, activate it and it will count down until the last second and then sends a ringing sound. I hope these ideas are considered!
