My idea is to improve items like a fire pit and a cauldron of soups.
At the moment, soup is a rather useless and rare food, it is unprofitable to cook and quite difficult. Like a cauldron with 1 use, store a block of water or lava. I want to suggest adding new functionality that ties these things together and gives them new life.
Food on the fire. We can already grill meat and potatoes over the fire, but what if we rework the balance of soups a little and let the pot on the fire? In this case, you can add ingredients to the boiling water cauldron and make soups, which will no longer be 1 useless bowl, but 3-4.
In this case, we kill a few birds with birds, add variety to the players' diet, now making soups will be profitable and it will be profitable to go with bowls, diversify role-playing moments in the game itself and give life to the cauldron and fire. The mechanics can be like potions, take turns adding the right ingredients, or fill the boiler slots and pour water on the fire.
Cooking a variety of meals will be profitable, now what did not have the logic (why 4 ingredients in the soup turns out to be 4 times less satiety) will be corrected through balance processing and mechanics. You can scoop out the soup with a bowl as well as with bottles of water from the soup pot. The cauldron on the fire is just as suggestive of potions right in the cauldron, but that's another story.
I think it fits well into the vanilla mine.
