Marble, and marble *variants*?

Marble, I think would be an amazing new block for the building community. As somewhat of a builder myself, I love quartz blocks. It is a nice, white block. But somewhat difficult to obtain. So as a solution, and possibly just better than quartz but not overlooking it, I think marble variants would be amazing as new blocks. It could be found in large patches on the surface and underground, most commonly in mountains, stony shores, and windswept hills. Like other stone types, it could have: Polished marble Marble bricks Cracked marble bricks Chiseled marble Marble slabs Marble stairs Marble walls Marble pillars (vertical texture) It also could be amazing for gradients. As mentioned previously, variation could be possible too! Black AND white marble could be found in the same patches, or smaller separate ones. Same purposes and features, just much, much darker. It wouldn't look exactly like quartz, or like diorite. As the RAW marble blocks, black could be: mostly black, with white stripes, or just white scattered on it. And white, essentially the same. The black and white polished marble, bricks, etc, could be the overall main color, like black is mostly black, and white, well.. mostly white. Overall I think it would just be an amazing addition to the game, and quite honestly I am surprised it hasn't been added yet.
