The Ancient City has great potential, but its current mechanics require online research and force long, tedious waiting times. I propose an overhaul to make the Warden experience more cinematic, fair, and accessible to everyone.Noise Trigger: The Warden’s warning counter should only increase through loud actions like sprinting or jumping on stone. Normal actions like eating or opening chests should be safe, punishing haste rather than bad luck.Fair Flight: The Warden should start slower and accelerate if you keep making noise. Its Sonic Boom must respect walls for cover, but it will bypass blocks instantly if the Warden takes damage. This rewards strategic escape while punishing players trying to exploit high towers.Soundproof Rooms: Small chambers should generate where players can hide. It won't work if the Warden is too close, creating a terrifying "hide and seek" mechanic where you close the door and pray it didn't hear you enter.Fast Reset & Audio Cues: Waiting 40 minutes for the warning level to reset breaks the game rhythm. The counter should reset completely to 0 after 1 to 1.5 minutes of total silence. The Warden will growl while searching, and the entire biome will fall into a deep, absolute silence once it's safe again, telling the player they can explore. These changes turn the structure into a thrilling survival challenge based on skill, not frustration.
