Wooden beams

Crafted from two logs of any kind, stripped or not, in a vertical formation, wooden beams would fit perfectly into vanilla minecraft. This decorative family of blocks would rotate like end rods and chains, while being as thick as a wall. Wooden beams would make up for perfect support beams, pipes, branches and many other things! So much possibilities with just one simple addition! Vote for this idea if you'd like to see it in vanilla minecraft.
