New Ore: Resonite

Resonite is a rare underground ore that generates below Y -40 inside large cave chambers. Unlike every other ore in Minecraft, it reacts to nearby sounds instead of light. Footsteps, mining, chest openings, bells, explosions, and other loud noises cause the ore to emit a soft blue glow and a unique resonance. This allows players to discover it by listening as well as exploring, making cave exploration more immersive and rewarding.

Mining Resonite with an Iron Pickaxe or better drops Raw Resonite Crystals. These can be crafted into a Resonite Crystal, which is used to craft a new utility block called the Resonator.

The Resonator can record one nearby Minecraft sound and replay it whenever it receives a Redstone signal. It can reproduce sounds such as bells, doors, chests, note blocks, footsteps, arrows, and many other in-game sounds. This would give builders, map makers, and Redstone engineers new creative possibilities for adventure maps, decorations, secret bases, and immersive builds.

Resonite is not meant to replace diamonds, Netherite, or existing ores. Instead, it introduces a unique gameplay mechanic focused on sound, exploration, creativity, and Redstone while fitting naturally into Minecraft's design philosophy of adding new experiences rather than stronger equipment.
