Colored Books and Quills

In Minecraft, we can dye leather armor, banners, and wool. The upcoming drop is even adding colored stairs, slabs, and pillows. But what about Books and Quills?

Bookshelves (both regular and chiseled) already display books in various colors. Yet in the inventory and in hand, they are strictly brown. Why can't we dye them if they already change colors visually? Especially considering that books are crafted using leather — just like leather armor.

Adding the ability to dye books using the dyes would add so much logic, aesthetics, and potential for lore and RP. It just makes sense!
