Perfect for day-one survival, it guarantees a 100% seed drop rate from tall grass, harvests vines like iron shears, and can be repaired on an anvil using simple flint or wooden planks. To balance its gameplay, players can choose between two mutually exclusive enchantments: Burning, which triggers the classic flint-and-steel sound when holding left-click to ignite the blade—dealing massive sprint-fire damage and auto-smelting animal meat at the cost of losing 1 durability per second as the handle burns—or Serration, a sustainable, low-durability-cost option that inflicts an armor-piercing "Bleed" status effect whenever you sneak or strike a mob from behind.
