The Missing Tree | The Palm Tree

Palm trees are one of the most iconic trees in the world, and with the many trees we have gotten in recent updates, I think it's crazy how the palm tree is still missing from the game. It can be used to liven up two of the most barren biomes in the game; beaches, giving them a more lively tropical feel, and deserts, spawning at oases. You could also add two new foods to the game, coconuts (which would spawn on palm trees on beaches) and dates (which spawn on palm trees in the desert). The addition of palm trees would also be a great time to add a new mob, the crab, which can finally make its way to the game after losing the mob vote back in 2023, much like the copper golem did. If the crab was added, I think it should be either a red king crab or a coconut crab, both of which would accompany the palm tree perfectly. To wrap this all up, the palm tree, with or without the extra amenities I typed above, would be a perfect fit for Minecraft. <3
