Long ago, an ancient civilization—perhaps linked to the intelligent villagers—inhabited the Overworld. They were mighty builders who erected structures, portals, and golems, all while exploring other dimensions in search of knowledge and a way to protect their world.
They discovered the Nether and the End, but their explorations led them into grave danger. A catastrophe struck, wiping out their civilization and forcing them to separate the dimensions. They created guardians to hold back the threat: golems for the villages, the Warden to protect the Deep Dark, and the Ender Dragon to guard the End.
The Nether may not always have been a devastated wasteland. It might once have been peaceful, inhabited by happy Ghasts and ordinary creatures. Following a disaster, the creatures were transformed: pigs became Piglins, Ghasts became sorrowful survivors, and the original inhabitants may have morphed into Blazes or other hostile entities. The Wither might have been created by their leader as an ultimate weapon, but it only brought about further destruction.
Endermen, Blazes, and other creatures may be part of a vast trial, with Eyes of Ender scattered across dimensions to ensure that only a worthy being can reach the End.
Steve and Alex are not mere survivors; they may be the chosen ones destined to complete what the ancient civilization began, uncover the truth, and restore balance to a broken world.
Basically, a new dimension of Sculk, with a story and answers.
