Chisels can be crafted with 1 chalk, 1 stick and the material of your choice. Add an armour trim to the chisel on a crafting grid. Once you have the trimmed chisel, interact with any block to get a patten 1 pixle into the block based on the armour trim. If you would like, interact with the chiselled block with any material you would but onto armour trims to fill the 1 pixel grooves. For the record, the armour trim you put onto the chisel is untouched. To fully register its addition, I think jungle temples should have some cobblestone chiselled with the wild trim then filled will emerald.
