Simulation of sneaking for smart creatures

Smart creatures (illagers, skeletons, piglins...) should be able to sneak in situations:
The need to climb into a low passage;
Close proximity to lava or cliff;
"Ranged combat" (Situation when it is beneficial to reduce the size of the silhouette).

It would be fair. I believe that all of the above is quite feasible.
