Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Change block states using survival tools (Axes and Pickaxes)

Please allow players to change some block states in Survival mode using tools. For example, right-clicking a fence with an axe could toggle its connections, and using a pickaxe could do the same for stone walls. This adds more detail to building without creative-only tools

    Yes. I'm even working on my own mod for vanilla survival that adds a Construction Wrench, allowing you to edit the state of fences, stairs. + some other useful features like rotating blocks to orient pistons and similar blocks. I genuinely feel like the game is missing a tool like this.
