A new wood type, The Red Wood

My suggestion is a new type of 'oak' The Redwood Tree, with a genuine red hue not the magenta look of 'crimson wood' it should only have a big form, requiring maybe 9/13 seeds, would be taller and thicker than taiga spruce and have a larger foliage that was mostly around the top rather than down its trunk. It could help break up the boring look of the taiga biome, would be a lovely red colour for building with, could easily be used to make tree colony builds etc
