Ancient City Portal and Expanding Archaeology

I would love to see the Giant Structure Frame (Portal) in the Ancient City actually activate and lead to a brand-new dimension. To make this new realm even more engaging, Smithing Templates and Pottery Sherds (Ceramic Fragments) could be given unique, practical uses exclusive to this dimension. This would provide players with a compelling gameplay loop and give Archaeology and the Brush a much more meaningful purpose in the endgame. In this brand-new dimension, Smithing Templates could function similarly to Enchantment Books, granting unique modifiers to gear. To emphasize their importance, the environmental conditions of this dimension could drastically reduce the effectiveness of standard enchantments.For instance, the blocks here could possess a baseline hardness equal to or greater than the Reinforced Deepslate (the frame block). Standard tools would be highly ineffective, making it necessary for players to use Smithing Templates to upgrade their equipment specifically to gain efficient mining and harvesting capabilities in this harsh environment.
