I think it would be a great idea to make the overworld feel even more alive by adding prehistoric creatures and more bird species. Dinosaurs could spawn naturally in plains biomes and other fitting environments while prehistoric remnants, such as fossils, ancient ruins or buried artifacts could be scattered throughout the world for players to discover.
These prehistoric remnants could reward exploration by containing rare loot, unique resources, or clues that encourage players to go on adventures across their world. Having something rare to search for would make exploration feel even more rewarding and give players another reason to travel far from their base.
I'd also love to see more avian species added to different biomes. Birds with unique appearances, sounds, and unique behaviors would make forests, jungles, mountains, and plains feel much more alive and immersive.
Overall i think adding prehistoric inspired content alongside more bird species would make a Minecraft world feel richer, encourage exploration, and give players exciting new things to discover while fitting the games adventurous spirit.
