A feeder block, in general, is a type of block that can be fueled with a feed of certain animals to help farming them easier.
Farm Animal Feeder: You place them in an area, and they will have a 4x4 range similar to a spawner. You place a feed in them, e.g. wheat for cow and sheep, and this will breed the animals in its range automatically. A feeder would be able to store up to 16 feed items and it should last 16 in game days as well. At night, a baby mob may or may not spawn, and sleeping will not affect that. A mob that was spawned by the feeder would not despawn unless killed by player.
Fish/Aquatic feeder: Currently, we can't really farm fish or squids, we'd have to swim to obtain their loots. While fishes can be fished with a rod, so as the ink sack, the glow ink cannot and is harder to come by sometimes. Thus a fish/aquatic feeder can help us with that. It works basically the same as the farm feeder. The feed we can use for fishes and squids is a new item, which are Termite larvae, or just any larvae in general. You would get them by using a hoe to a termite nest and they would refill over time just like bee nests. and Thus you can use these larvae in a fish feeder to farm any fish, as well as both squid variants, making the baby squid now obtainable by farming.
The feeders would only be able breed all farm animals (rabbits and mountable mobs included), fishes, squids, and nautiluses. Wild animals, such as pandas, foxes, ocelots, etc. would not be breedable through this.
